WARRANTY POLICY Clearances in cylinders bored and finished by Rebuilt Power Sports, LLC are warranted to be those of the customer or the piston manufacturer, within normal tolerance. It is the responsibility of the mechanic installing the cylinder, to check the bore and the piston-to-wall clearance, as well as cleaning and oiling the cylinder before installation. It is the responsibility of the operator to follow the proper break-in procedure and use common sense observing all operational limitations placed on the engine by the manufacturer. Rebuilt Power Sports, LLC will not warranty any bore, hone, sleeve job or piston returned after any installations. Our engines are built to factory stock specifications per the factory service manuals. We bench test all engines before shipment therefore will not warranty any engine after it has been installed by the customer. In short , these are powersports parts and engines , the manufactures have a very limited warranty policy making it virtually impossible to warranty anything anyway. Any wearable item does not have a warranty. I was a service manager at a dealership so I know how the manufacturers play the warranty game. We also track down vintage obsolete NOS parts from ebay or other websites that can not offer warranty on obsolete parts. So we respect the fact that the person installing parts and engines knows what they are doing and following the factory service manual. We have only had to warranty 1 tire in the last 10 years and that was due to a shipping issue. So be careful and take pride in your work as we do. Thank you!
