Our engine rebuilding process listed below is very thorough.
- Clean Engine, Inspect and Prepare for Disassembly.
- Complete Engine Disassembly.
- Ultrasonic Clean all Engine Parts. De-Carbon Cylinder Head and Power Valve.
- Complete Inspection and Measuring of all Internal and External Engine Parts per Service Manual Specifications.
- Media Blast or Vapor Blast Engine Cases, Engine Covers, Engine Cylinder and Cylinder Head.
- Paint with OEM Color Match Paint and Oven Cure Paint.
- Inspect all Bearings, Clutch, and Transmission parts for wear or damage.
- Inspect Crankshaft runout per service manual specifications.
- Insp9ect Engine Cylinder Bore for out of round and taper per service manual specifications.
- Inspect Engine Cylinder Plating for wear or damage. Re-plate if necessary.
- Inspect Cylinder head, valve seats and camshaft for wear or damage per service manual specifications.
- Bore (if necessary) and Hone Engine Cylinder to next oversize piston per service manual specifications.
- Chamfer Ports (2 strokes). Relieve Exhaust Port.
- Resurface Cylinder Head and Cylinder Sealing Surfaces for flatness if necessary
- Cut Valve Seats, Grind and Lapp per service manual specifications.
- Rebuild Crankshaft (if necessary)
- Install New Bearings (as needed)
- Install New Clutch Components (as needed)
- Install New Piston, Piston Rings, Piston Wrist Pin and Piston Circlips
- Install New Electrical Components (if necessary)
- Install New Complete Engine Oil Seal Kit.
- Install New Complete Engine Gasket Kit.
- Assemble Engine. Replace any damaged hardware such as screws, nuts or bolts.
- Set Ignition Timing. Set Valve Clearance.
- Genuine OEM Parts will be used for all replacement parts based on availability.
